Umm. What does this app do now?

And seriously? No done/back button on the profile? What kinda amateur editors choice crap is this? App be doomed in 5, 4, 3....

Loyal and disappointed user

Ive been using Storehouse since the first day it is on the App store. I love it so much for its idea of micro blogging/photo essay/social media. I think it really meaningful to post on the social account things that matters only. I love the previous version where it is easier to add friends from FB or twitter and it is easier to discover cool account like National Geographic or whatsoever. It gave me inspiration! It motivates me to take photos and make a mini blog that i think is meaningful to me. This app absolutely have a lot of potential. With the beautiful design and awesome user experience, this app really can go far. However, for some weird reason you guys decided to kill it (slowly). I understand the need to make it as personalized and as private as possible. But with killing discovery section and halting friends finding on FB and twitter? Come on... Dont kill this app. I am willing to pay for this app but dont close your potential. PLEASE!

Very sad change.

Very disappointed in this update. I have no idea how I will use this app now. Its just easier to create a private album on Facebook and share it with friend if I want to do something private. This has no utility now.

Great app for photographers!!

An easy way to store photos and videos. I like how you can add text to the albums next to the images. Very slick

Fun, but it crashes on occasion

I have the Storehouse app on my iPad Mini running iOS 9.2. The app continually crashes for me when I select "not now" on the enable access to contacts page. Also, as a side note, the e-mail verification landed promptly in one of my Yahoo accounts junk folder. There was no link back to Storehouse, only a button that seemed dead using Safari. I got so flustered I gave up verifying my account - maybe Ill try again and see what happens. The actual app itself is fun and easy to use, I like it.

Great for

I dont get why people are all up in arms- this app is great. I now can get rid of all my pesky photo clutter and organize my moments; even send them directly to family in friends who were with me- rather than post to random strangers who before were all up in my business. Its now a sharing TOOL not a site, and Im actually using it more now than ever. I also dont have to send awkward texts or emails of my images now, which is so nice. I know its different, but Im totally on board for this new direction!

Used to be great...

It used to be a great platform for sharing visual stories and you could discover amazing content. I was in love. Then they updated the app and removed all the social features and ditched the great design. You cant follow other people or discover great content, all you can see is your own stuff. Basically in the new Storehouse you can only share pics with your friends and family. Nobody from my family or friends care. We use Apple Photos instead.

What Happened?

I no longer understand why this app exists. Before I found great content from a wide variety of people, all walks of life, who had a different vision of the world around them. With the update I dont even understand what Im supposed to do with this app as no one I personally know has it or even knows about it.

Confusing, needless reduction of a formerly amazing app.

I used to find and follow world-class storytellers and photographers with this app, and its all been scrapped in this tone-deaf, bewildering update. Sad. Hope someone else creates an alternative soon.

Mistake

Pre 2.0 update, I was really excited in going all in on this platform. Great way to see others work and publish my own. I have no idea who made the fatal decision to torpedo the social component in preference to some obscure attempt at pseudo-private rooms or circles or whatever thing. Im guessing there must be a real crisis behind the scenes because the update was a bewildering error.

BRING IT BACK TO ITs FORMER GLORY!!!!!

I use it now only for storage.

Used to be great, now--not

I know its been a while since storehouse 2.0, but I just had to voice my displeasure. By robbing the social aspect of the app, the discovery experience is now gone. None of my friends/family use the app anyway, so now it is absolutely useless. I really liked this app, but now it is pretty useless. If storehouse ever brings these functions back I will come back, but as of now I find it extremely disappointing.

Sad

This was my favorite app. I discovered some many stories. It was like a new adventure every day. Now, its a confusing set up. Please restore the old format. I miss our community.

Still a great storytelling app!

Despite all the complaints about 2.0 Im reading by other commenters, I still find Storehouse to be a great app for telling stories and sharing photos and video. I dont know of another app that allows one to visually share both at the same time as this one does. And it can all be shared via the app, web, and TV casting! I use it for journaling, and sharing my life with family and friends.

Worse than worthless

This is pure junk. It caused me to waste a lot of time selecting photos and then says error trying to import pictures. Try again. I tried and I tried and I tried. It just does not work. Apple needs to crack down on junk apps like this.

Not what it used to be

Sad to see a once great app backed with an Apple Design Award now have less than 2 stars, all because the developer stopped listening to the users. I hope its not too late to restore the social features of Storehouse.

Great Storytelling

Love this app. I wasnt around to see when the app had an explore interface, but the app right now I can say is amazing and beautifully portrays events and stories. I love creating stories on here and sharing it with my family and friends. I really want to see this app do well and I dont think it deserves a 2 star rating average.

You ruined it

I cant find any stories from the people I follow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bring back our app.
